Academic Appeal Hearing Script Template
Use this structure to speak clearly in a faculty or panel meeting. Keep it factual, brief, and evidence-linked.
How should you speak in an academic appeal hearing?
The safest structure is simple: state the outcome you want, explain the core circumstances in plain language, point the panel to the documents that prove each important point, and close with a practical recovery plan. In most hearings, a short organised script works better than trying to tell the whole story from memory.
